He introduced that the exhibition is based on China and faces the world, providing a platform for the whole industrial chain and supply chain related enterprises such as global construction machinery, building materials machinery, mining machinery, and special vehicles to realize value addition and user cooperation and exchange.
Su Zimeng analyzed the overall development of the construction machinery industry in 2024 at the press conference. He said that in the first half of 2024, the construction machinery industry maintained an overall stable development trend, high-quality development was steadily promoted, and high-end, intelligent and green development achieved fruitful results. For the situation in the second half of the year, he analyzed that despite the complex and changing external environment, the construction machinery industry has strong resilience and development potential. With the strengthening of national macro-control, it is expected that the economic operation of the construction machinery industry in the second half of the year will continue to stabilize and recover, and there is a steady trend of progress.

According to the statistics of the Association, the electric construction machinery represented by electric loaders, forklifts, lifting work platforms, etc., has increased significantly, and the cumulative sales of electric loaders in the first half of 2024 are 5,114 units, an increase of 361%. Electric forklifts sold 468,557 units in the first half of the year, an increase of 24.2% over the same period last year, accounting for 70.8% of the total sales of forklifts; The electric power rate of the lifting working platform exceeds 90%. With the substantial improvement of battery, electric drive and control system research and development and manufacturing capabilities, electric off-highway dump trucks, excavators, cranes, bulldozers, concrete machinery, etc., have been mass produced and put into use. A number of large-scale, intelligent construction machinery products continue to be put on the market, playing an important role in major engineering projects and infrastructure construction.
Wu Peiguo, secretary-general of China Construction Machinery Industry Association and chairman of Beijing Tianshihuagong International Exhibition Co., LTD., introduced the specific situation of BICES 2025 exhibition.
